CAARA live streaming radio operation, demonstrations or open club meetings. [Pending equipment and club member interest]
If you have a medium to good quality web cam (lesser quality will just give a really bad video to the viewer but it is doable), like a Logitech Quickcam 9000 , an Apple Firewire iSight or Macbook, or iMac with onboard video cam, or a Mini-DV digital video camera like a Canon or Sony etc with the capability of connecting it up to your computer with Firewire or USB depending on your OS and hardware, and would like to stream a demonstration of ham radio as a member of CAARA to the membership and/or the world, you can now do it right through Ustream.tv and the CAARA web site. If you have an interest and wish to know more about it, contact Glenn . I have done live video webcasting on sites such as Ustream.tv and Justin.tv as well as with my own Darwin Streaming webserver (where the CAARA live audio stream originates) many times over the last year.
